Punxsutawney Phil Saw His Shadow; Could Be Wrong

This morning, the world's most famous groundhog, Punxsutawney Phil, saw his shadow and forecasted an additional six weeks of winter.

But he could be wrong.

According to the Washington Post's "Captial Weather Gang", the DC area didn't drop below 32 degrees for 19 days in a row. That's the longest stretch in the month of January we've ever seen.

Could his accuracy be waning?
