It was the battle of a lifetime in the 90s/early 2000s - Backstreet Boys vs. *NSYNC.
I'm not going to get into ALLLLLL the facts because honestly, this article would be WAY longer than it needs to be.
But look. I'm a fan of both. You can't argue that each band literally defined the height of pop music. Sorry not sorry to any younger fans obsessed with One Direction and BTS at the moment because you literally can't deny their star power when they're together - but the 90s was a different time and the music is exponentially better - you literally can't name a collective song from most boybands that literally everyone (including our parents) at least know besides "I Want It That Way" or "Everybody (Backstreet's Back)" or "Bye, Bye, Bye" or "Tearin' Up My Heart" and you little teeny boppers can try to fight me if you want. It's just the truth.
But Buzzfeed did an article on the 2 greatest boybands in history which has taken them from their awful red and bowl-haircuts to the present day, and honestly, they really don't look awful.
For the record, I'm #TeamBackstreet. Always have been. Always will be. BUT, I still do like *NSYNC.

****Honestly, don't come for Joey Fatone either because the photo that's above is obviously not great, but he literally hosts a game show now and is VERY active with hosting things for the Impractical Jokers, and I've met him and sang with him on stage to an *NSYNC song and he's still pretty good looking for being almost 50.****
Also, get your tickets to see the Backstreet Boys this summer on their DNA World Tour which stops in DC on July 12th...because *NSYNC isn't together or touring anymore. RIP.
