We Finally Got A Trailer For 'Star Wars: The Acolyte!'

We're going back in time in the Star Wars galaxy according to the first trailer for The Acolyte and we're hyped!

Disney Plus just released the first trailer for the upcoming Star Wars series and we now know that the series will be set about 100 years before the events of Star Wars Episode 1: The Phantom Menace.

Now does this mean we'll get a young Yoda and Plo Koon who knows? However, we do get the first live-action appearance of Vernestra Rwoh who is one of the main characters from Star Wars' High Republic era.

In the trailer we also get our first live-action Wookiee Jedi and see Lee Jung-jae (from Squid Games), Carrie-Ann Moss (Trinity from The Matrix) and Dafne Keen (X-23 in Logan) as Jedis.

The series is set to premiere its first two episodes on June 4th and then a new episode every week. If you also are planning to see The Phantom Menace re-released in theaters in May you also will get a special look at the upcoming series! We can't wait!

You can also check out the series two posters below that give us the vibe of what the show will be about when it premieres this summer!
